Laurens ten Dam rides for team Rabobank, where he applies his climbing skills in support of Denis Menchov and Robert Gesink. Laurens won the KOM jersey at the 2009 Tour of Switzerland.

For the second year running, SBS Sport's popular columnist Jesse Fink will be offending all and sundry with his unique view of Le Tour in "Saddle Sores". Jesse, who regularly writes for SBS, ESPN STAR Sports and other websites, is the author of 15 Days in June: How Australia Became a Football Nation and is a self-confessed cycling neophyte. But he knows where to get a good coffee.
